Starting this spring, Wipika Kiteboarding will launch The Wipika Store, a newly developed web store, through the website wipikakiteboarding.com. Wipika, renowned as the first kiteboarding company, designs a broad product line including kites, boards, bars, and accessories with a strong focus on simplicity and innovation in their Research and Development.

Since the beginning, Wipika’s goal has been to get more people involved in the sport. In addition to a traditional retail network, the newly added web store feature further progresses Wipika’s goals. Using the flexibility of online ordering paired with a strong global support and promotion network, Wipika has its eyes on once again attaining the top-selling position world-wide.

Wipika plans to continue working closely with top-level athletes in developing products and promoting the brand, citing that team riders are the best source of input in driving R&D and marketing strategy.

With a track record of “firsts” in the industry (first company, first production kite, first reverse launch bridle, first twin-tip board, first 5th line system) Wipika aims to continue the tradition of leading the industry. Additionally, Wipika will expand its Global Pro Team’s effort by creating national teams composed of local riders and opinion leaders who will push the brand globally.

The Wipika Store will launch this spring and is aimed at selling and servicing kiteboarding products online, directly from Wipika International. In addition to traditional retail, The Wipika Store will lower prices to the end consumer and allow for expanded global distribution.
