Seattle, WA - Twenty-six year old lead climbing ranger Charlie Borgh on Mount Deltaform last week, according to Climbing.com. His climbing partner, 24-year old Gabe Coler, miraculously survived.

The two men were climbing Mount Deltaform's Supercouloir, a mixed route on the north face of the 11,231 foot mountain when an avalanche ripped, carrying them both down the face. Borgh and Coler reportedly fell 3,000 feet. Borgh was killed in the fall, but Coler was able to dig himself out. He then kept himself warm enough to survive for three days, exposed, without gloves or hat or pack. The duo were reported missing Sunday morning, two and a half days after the fall. Coler was located by helicopter and evacuated.
