Madison, WI 5/17/2010 - Midwest based adventure outfitter, Mountain Lake Adventures, has expanded through the creation of the Wisconsin Canoe Company and is now offering low-cost canoe rentals and guide services on the Lower Wisconsin River with its newly acquired fleet. In order to kick off the first season as a full service canoe outfitter, the Wisconsin Canoe Company is giving its customers 50% off on all reservations made before June 1st of this year. "We formed the Wisconsin Canoe Company in response to existing outfitters that were unable to meet our scheduling needs," said company owner Ryan Schmudlach. "We've got over 20 years of experience in canoe logistics and trip leading among the people closest to this project so it just kind of made sense for us to give it a shot." In fact, this experience includes multi-day trips with as many as 70 people while managing up to 40 boats on the water at a time. By offering one of the lowest rates on the Wisconsin River, the company seeks to open up this fantastic resource to as many people as possible. "You've got wide open sandbars, a slow moving current, free camping, and more sandy beach than you'll know what to do with, and you can do it all for less than the cost of a nice dinner - even less if you get into our free rental program." About the Company: The Wisconsin Canoe Company provides canoe rentals, guide services, and canoe transportation services between Prairie Du Sac and Spring Green on the Lower Wisconsin River, a section of the 92.3 mile protected Lower Wisconsin State Riverway. Mountain Lake Adventures offers adventure travel and consulting services in addition to working with area businesses and organizations to provide customized adventures for employees, clients, and members including canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking, skydiving, and hang gliding trips.
