Predominantly known as the gambling mecca of the east coast, the beaches of Atlantic City, New Jersey are rapidly becoming known for kiteboarding as well. According to Kitebeaches.com Atlantic City has fun waves to ride in that can get quite big. The stronger the wind the bigger the waves. The North and West winds are sideoffshore; the Northwest are offshore; Sideshore winds come from the Southwest and Northeast; Sideonshore winds come from the South and East. Atlantic City beaches are wide and sandy. But the spot is restricted in the summer during the middle of the day. Try kiting there after 5 PM or early in the morning or risk getting chased away by the lifeguards.
