SANTA FE, New Mex. -- Outside magazine, the voice of America’s active lifestyle, and Crocs, Inc., today announced their partnership for Outside’s Stay 30 Forever Tour. The three-city celebration will be held in urban parks and city centers and will promote outdoor activities and tips on how to stay fit for life.
The tour will kick off May 12 in San Francisco and will continue to Portland the following weekend and Denver on May 26.
Featuring interactive pavilions, healthy gourmet seminars, complimentary yoga classes, and hands-on experience with the hottest in outdoor gear, Stay 30 Forever will showcase the latest in fitness, nutrition, and physical and mental wellness. Crocs will host a “test drive” where attendees can trade in their shoes for a pair of comfortable, lightweight Crocs™ shoes for the day.
Crocs will also feature various new styles of footwear, perfect for active lifestylers, in the “Move” interactive area. In addition, Outside will provide indispensable tips on how to ensure and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle, straight from the pages of the award-winning magazine.
“We may not have a map to the Fountain of Youth, but this might be the next best thing,” says Outside Publisher Scott Parmelee. “Our goal with the Stay 30 Forever Tour is to inspire the audience and help them to discover a healthier way of life.”
The Stay 30 Forever Tour will mark the release of Outside’s June issue – the most comprehensive health-and-fitness report ever for the 30th anniversary of Outside’s active lifestyle coverage. The tour will include on-site Outside experts and world-class athletes who will demonstrate state-of–the-art fitness techniques.
Attendees can also touch, feel, and experience the most advanced outdoor gear and electronics on the market and chat one on one with product staff about how to select the right gear to maximize performance and overall fitness level. Free nutrition evaluations, body-fat testing, agility and reaction testing, and BMI readings will also be available.
The Stay 30 Forever Tour is also sponsored by Timex, Thule, Michelin, Kelty, Prana, Mix1, and Human Touch. Visit www.stay30forever.com for more information.
