BOULDER, Colo. -- ProTrails, the Boulder Colorado-based recreation trail information source, has added over 100 new trails in the past 6 months. In conjunction, site traffic has doubled in 2007 as new trails are being added on a weekly basis.
New Multi-Use Trails have been added in the following areas: Joshua Tree National Park, Arches National Park, Zion National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Badlands National Park as well as Saguaro National Park and the Indian Peaks Wilderness of Colorado.
"Every week we get closer to our ultimate goal of mapping out all trails in the United States," said ProTrails co-founder Dave Schwartz. "Our vision of providing detailed and accurate trail descriptions has quickly become a reality."
In addition to the Trail Descriptions section, ProTrails is experiencing tremendous growth in its Outdoor Jobs section, having become the go-to source for jobs within the outdoor industry.
"The best part of ProTrails is that is remains a free resource for outdoor enthusiasts," said Schwartz. "While we don't have the entire country covered yet, we get closer with every new trail description."
