SixStates.net, the home for New England travel and adventure, is holding its first-ever New England Outdoors Writing Contest. Story submissions should be about the subjects covered by SixStates.net -- hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, climbing, snowboarding, surfing, etc. And all stories must pertain to New England. All nominated articles will receive $25 and be published on SixStates.net. The Grand Prize Winner will receive an additional $200. The deadline for submissions is September 1, 2010. A winner will be announced in December. Submissions should be sent to editors@sixstates.net.
