Joel Cohen has won the first annual Sierra Valle 10K race. A new event for this summer, the turnout, although less than stellar, met the expectations of the organizers.

"We hope that as the buzz grows, we will garner more participation and be able to make this a larger event in the coming years," organizer Tim Blasher explained. "This year, the event was smaller than we would have liked, but everyone had fun, and that's what counts."
