4th Annual Xstream Expedition Adventure Race

(Durango, CO – September 18, 2007) Gravity Play Sports will again host the 4th Annual Xstream Expedition Race in the magnificent Moab, Utah area in a week. The 3 day, 250 mile expedition race is the most affordable expedition race in the world at only $425 per person. With 3 full days of nonstop adventures including a spectacular ropes section, trekking in the magnificent La Sal Mountain Range, and adventurous desert terrain for the mountain biking and kayaking sections; this expedition race is fun, fast and affordable.
Top teams converging upon Moab include Team Salomon/Crested Butte, Team Checkpoint Zero/Go Lite, Team BagelWorks and Team 4 Corners Adventure Racing, among others.
The Moab area is an ideal place for a challenging expedition length adventure race given its rugged terrain, multi-sport options, world class mountain biking and natural beauty. Nestled in the beautiful Castleton Valley, Red Cliffs Adventure Lodge again will serve as an ideal start & finish location for the 2007 Xstream Expedition race. The resort’s lush and expansive grounds make it a perfect place for a congregation of adventure racers and support staff.
The event will also be featuring the Checkpoint Tracker software so fans and family members at home can watch the race unfold on their computers. The event begins at noon on Thursday with a post race dinner & awards ceremony on Sunday evening.
